Abstract

This article describes the development and application of a maturity assessment framework for early-stage incubated startups. Based on 54 indicators organized into seven dimensions, the instrument was applied to 34 startups participating in an incubation program in Distrito Federal, Brasil. Results show a mean score of 2.38 (on a 1-4 scale), a positive moderate correlation between technological maturity (TRL) and organizational maturity (r = 0.31), and identify Commercial and Marketing as the weakest dimension (1.95), while Legal-Accounting emerges as the most developed (3.20). The article discusses implications for personalized interventions in incubation programs.
