The Importance of university incubators in local innovation ecosystems

This article analyzes the fundamental role of university incubators within the context of local innovation ecosystems. Based on statistical data, literature reviews, and case studies involving real examples of incubated startups, the research explores the strategies adopted by these support environments to foster the creation and development of startups. The applied methodology includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis, allowing for a comprehensive discussion on how university incubators contribute to the formation of innovative environments, stimulate knowledge transfer, and promote integration between academia and the market. In conclusion, the results highlight the relevance of these innovation centers for regional socioeconomic development and present recommendations for the expansion and continuous improvement of this model.
