Social Entrepreneurship in Social Organizations

The conceptual aspects involving social entrepreneurship highlight the concern with the promotion of social welfare, social inclusion and generation of social transformations. Social entrepreneurship allows us to create new ways to deal with social problems. The aim of this paper is to verify how the social entrepreneurship such as Social Business meeting the needs of the low-income population, especially to provide access to essential services and products for a decent life. The research methodology is characterized as descriptive qualitative. The five social enterprises studied work in the areas of education, health or employment. For data collection, the research used the semi-structured interview technique applied to the managers of the organizations. The results show that the activities of the five organizations studied seem to be oriented towards social inclusion in favor of social development.
