Abstract

The business budget is an important management tool, as it is possible to forecast cash flow and anticipate decision-making, while strategic planning aims to provide managers and their teams with a tool that provides them with information to assist in decision making. decision-making and to act in an agile manner, anticipating changes in the market. Taking into account the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the objective of the research is to analyze the use of a business budget and strategic planning with a long-term vision, for survival in unstable scenarios. For this, a research was carried out with 52 micros and small companies in which, it can be observed that more than 40% of respondents do not use these management tools.
