This article aims to reflect on the dynamics of black entrepreneurship and Afro-entrepreneurship in Brazil. It is a theoretical reflection resulting from the problematization of the subject, built on in-depth reading and critical conceptualization of national and international scientific literature. As a result, three axes of discussion were identified: "Reflections on the constitutive conditions of entrepreneurship in Brazil", "Ethnic-racial and social inequalities in Brazilian entrepreneurship" and "Afro-entrepreneurship in the Brazilian context". Although already established in Brazilian daily life, there is a need for greater depth in understanding the impact of black entrepreneurship and Afro-entrepreneurship on reducing inequalities.
