Abstract

The entrepreneurial ecosystem is composed of resources, institutions, individuals, and initiatives that support and stimulate the development of new businesses and ventures. Its relevance is evidenced by the ability to drive innovation, economic growth, and the consequent solution of social problems, thus contributing to the sustainable development of regions and countries. To assess the impact of the integration of innovation environments in the municipality, a case study was conducted in the city of Alfenas, in southern Minas Gerais. For this purpose, questionnaires were applied to companies not linked to the local innovation environment and which can directly contribute to the investigation conducted. As a result, it was evident that several key areas require greater attention and development to strengthen the competitiveness and prosperity of companies. Awareness of these aspects and the adoption of a strategic approach can drive success and sustainability of companies in a dynamic and challenging market.
