Young Entrepreneur Movement and the Association Towards the Intellectual Property and Innovation

Entrepreneurship is a multifaceted phenomenon that encompasses the creation of new businesses, jobs, innovation, and impacts on the country's development. In this context, the young entrepreneur movement encourages the creation of new businesses designed and managed by young people. The present study aimed to identify the practices adopted by the young entrepreneur movement in the Northeast of Brazil to propose actions that stimulate the concern with intellectual property and innovation in youth entrepreneurship. The research is of a mixed type, being qualitative and quantitative, with a descriptive approach. The results refer to practices to support youth entrepreneurship that take place through partnerships with public and private institutions, planning and brainstorming meetings that result in courses, training, events and lectures. As for innovation, IP and technology transfer activities, they have come from lectures on innovation, networking, business model competitions and events at universities and colleges.
